In this week's episode, Carol and Dan are joined by the ARL's Volunteer Manager Molly Applegate and Volunteer Assistant Chloe Bald! They discuss all the volunteer opportunities available at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa and various ways to get involved. Carol and Dan speak on their personal experiences volunteering at the ARL and the impact it makes not only on the community, but themselves. Then, Carol and Dan discuss how it is now scientifically proven cats can play fetch and the most popular dog breeds in each state, with the most popular breed in Iowa coming as a surprise to them both. The two wrap things up with Raise Your Paw coming up, and a short story on how a midwestern zoo is helping the rare, and endangered, species of African Spotted Dogs.
